My last entry was just over 2 years ago.
Time for some updates!

I am currently in my Senior year, and amazed with how far i have come. If I was told my Freshman year the amount and quality of work i would be doing only a few years later, i would have laughed and disbelieved. I am surprised myself, believe me, with the things i find myself able to do now. Goes to show you what sticking to something can do for you.
I have applied to Northern Illinois University, and am anxiously waiting on the letter of acceptance! I am planning on getting a degree in Art Education.
I spend most of my time either in an art room or in the theatre. Last year, my school did Nosies Off as our fall production; and i was involved with scene construction and props. Ever since then, couldnt get enough of tech. So, when it came time for the musical, I was one of the few students who helped paint a mural on the entire back wall of the stage, along with a HUGE ramp/spinning cube scenery combo. The result was AMAZING. This year, with the fall play now in full swing, I am helping the art director plan out the set pieces. I drew out a piece, and the Director is now putting the presser on to make the real thing look like the picture...guess i better improve my carpentry skills, ha. The musical should prove to be an ever bigger feat to over come...
